I won a Russell Hobbs Brita Filter Kettle last year and on Friday the light went out in the kettle, Thinking i would not get a replacement i rang and all they wanted was the code on the bottle of the stand and today i got a replacement brand new kettle. They did not even want the old one back so i will give it to neighbour as she is not bothered about the light not working. Plus it means i get a decent cuppa when i go over now lol.
