My hubby and I are currently going through the same process as you. You need to ask the creditors to send you a letter to say that they will not pursue you for the balance or sell the remainder of the debt on. Each creditor of ours has initially said they can't do this but once you say you wont pay if they dont then they will send them out.
Good luck with it all-we have fingers crossed managed to negotiate with all of our creditors but I dont want to say any more until I have successfully paid them all in case I tempt fate in some way. Would love to hear how you get on

We recommend showing the pro rata distribution of your lump sum to all of your creditors so they know they’re being dealt with fairly.
