Judging by the numbers that went out the door at 8am this morning, I am presuming that the sewing machines on offer in Lidl starting today must be a good deal

The link is for the page in Scotland, I hope the deal covers the whole country.

I was at my large store before 8am and there were about 8 people in front of me and when I got inside there were none left to buy,and customers could only have one per person at that,so it wasn't as if anyone was bulk buying .I only saw one man paying for an overlocker ,the rest must have been machines,I asked if someone could ring another store and was told it would be better for me to do it using the number on the leaflets near the door. I spoke to customer services which was the only number you can ring, only to be told there are no numbers for the public to ring, but they could check 2 stores after 24 hours to see if any were left and they would reserve one for me,I told them that was rather pointless. WHY ADVERTISE ON MAINSTREAM TV if they are not going to supply a decent amount of stock.I shall not be going to lidl for any offers in the future. Did anyone else find the same experience ?0

Just been to Lidl for some bread and they had two overlocker machines on display and I think if I counted correctly 4 sewing machines! Obviously not been as popular around my way!0

It's always the same with the expensive Aldi and Lidl deals, only a few items per store and no reservations allowed (why would they, when it just appears to be unfair and they know they are going to sell them all).
I don't know if it's the same in Lidl but at Aldi the expensive special stock can get moved between stores if they aren't moving in one store but sold out in another. But that's all down to the powers that be and probably a computer algorithm rather than individuals stores.0 -
Well well what a surprise on eBay already I notice. well done LIDL .0

Sounds like individual shops letting people buy more than 1. Not fair on anyone actually wanting to buy one for themselves. Still that's greed for you I guess. There should have been much more available.0
