Male bike

I want to get a decent male adult bike. Don't want to go to Halfords or Argos etc want to actually speak to someone who can advise me. Need it for on and off road cycling but not into the full on mountain biking. Hoping to spend around the £150 mark. Can anyone recommend a shop / local business that can get me a bike fully made up and ready to go.

Chain Reaction Cycles on the Boucher Road in Belfast may be able to advise you on a suitable bike.0

You're unlikely to get a decent bike for your budget in a local independent bike shop. Decathlon have bikes around that price that would be worth considering.
If you can stretch to a bit more, I can personally recommend McConveys on the lower Ormeau Road. Good selection, good service and aftercare (I got 10% of the price of my bike back to spend on accessories and a free bike service).
Please please please budget for a helmet too.Norn Iron Club Member 3300 -
In terms of a bike, a Cyclocross Bike might be the way to go - sort of hybrid between a road bike and mountain bike so suitable for off road too. However, may not be within your budget! Have you investigated whether you can apply for a cycle to work scheme?0
