Hi,,
Can anyone give advice or experience on the success of getting a mortgage approved when just beginning new employment (i.e. without waiting 6 months etc) I am on a permanent contract with no probation etc..
Only problem is my partner is in the same boat..he is just starting new employment also.
Many Thanks

Are you both still in the same type of employment field? For some lenders this will be important.
However, other lenders will be fine with you both, assuming you meet all other criteriaI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I'm not really as my position is a graduate trainee management scheme..so it's my first real 'professional' employment.
My Husband is sticking to the same type of employment just with a different organisation0 -
BAsed on that, you should be fine.
You husband is in the same line of work, and you may be looked upon more favourably by some lenders as you may be classed as having higher earnings potential/quicker career prgression (rightly or wrongly)I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
