in Cutting tax
I have just done my personal tax return. The website is now telling me the information below.
My question is... Do I need to call them up and pay it? Or will it be taken off my future PAYE earnings? An earlier page said that it would be taken off my PAYE, but this page does not say that, so I am a bit confused.

This section provides you with the result of your calculation. Please check the figures and amounts due carefully.
Please note: Unless you are viewing a previously submitted return you must click the 'Next' button at the bottom of this page to save then submit your return.
Total amount due for 2014-15 £1,804.30
Plus
First payment on account for 2015-16 £0.00
Total to be added to Self Assessment account due by 31 January 2016
HM Revenue and Customs will add this amount to your Self Assessment statement of account. It doesn't include any 2014-15 payments on account you may have made or any other amounts outstanding. To help you to decide how much, if anything, to pay by the due date, check your Self Assessment account and use the information above until it transfers over.
Please note: Please carefully check the figures and the amounts due, which are calculated using the amounts you have entered.
£1,804.30
Second payment on account for 2015-16 will be due by 31 July 2016 £0.00

Due for payment 31st January 2016. It even says no payment in advance for next year.0

Did you tick the box to say you'd like any tax due collected via your tax code when completing the return? If you did then this should be collected during 16/17, otherwise you'll need to pay the full amount by next January.'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -
Yes, I think I ticked the box. But it would be nice if the website would tell me whether or not it thinks I did too.0
