the builder has finally taken his cheque to the bank and deposited it - he has only been hanging onto it for 3 weeks

so it was a bit of a shock to see the balance on the current account this morning, shuffled money across from savings to make things balance again

oh well we have come back from worse - when my car kicked up its heels and we had to replace it, it was 18 months before the savings account even started to recover.

I put a receipt into the recycling as it only gave a 6p APG, might need to retrieve it now :rotfl:

Transport arrived about 8.45.

Traffic pretty awful, got to hospital around 10.20. Still waiting, so clearly they're running a bit late. Glad I don't have to sit here with a full bladder like most do. Impossible in my old state and impossible now with a catheter constantly draining!
