Mortgage on Temp contracts?

I am hoping someone can help! My younger son (32) has spent the last 3 or 4 years on temp contracts (agency work) - sometimes for a few months, the last one for 6 months ( just finished) so he can show that he has worked in his bank statements, but seems impossible for him to get a mortgage. He has saved £30k for deposit so could put down 25% based on house for £120k. I am mortgage free with a property worth £280 and earn £18k a year with other regular s/e income. Could we get a mortgage together whereby my salary would pay the mortgage when he is not working or until he gets a permanent job? I am 60 so will be working for a good few years yet. The only other thing to mention is that I have a CCJ against my name (long story - it was 'satisfied' - ie paid 3 days after the cut off date for it not showing on credit reports - which has affected my ability to get credit card - never had a problem before so am assuming it is the problem. The only other possibility is that my older son could go on the mortgage as he has a buy to let mortgage on a property in Manchester where he used to live and is looking to buy in London now where he works, but would be willing to help his younger brother get on the property ladder. Or could we do a Buy to Let whereby my son could live, rent out a room and eventually change from Buy to Let to standard mortgage when younger son has a permanent job. Would really appreciate your help!

You're all over the place with ideas, but all have issues that will stop them from working.
Take a beath, step back, and book an appointment with a broker who will do a full fact find and advise better than anyone on a online forum.
While I'm personally not a specialist in this area I would put money on there being a lender for a temp worker with 3 years history working like thatI am a Mortgage Adviser

I was on temporary contracts when I got my mortgage, and only had five months left on my contract at the time. Santander required me to prove that my contract had previously been renewed, so I sent them the confirmation letters/new contracts from the last couple of years. Once they had that it was no problem. The difference to your son's case is that I had got new contracts at the same company each time, which showed continuity, but hopefully my example shows it's not impossible?
In the end I got a new (permanent) post the day after we moved in!0
