I got a lot done yesterday :D The house is looking a lot better than it did.

I have been for a swim this morning and have an eye test booked for lunchtime. DH credit report has come up so they have been sent off to the broker and I will pull together both our payslips and bonus letters so I can explain our bonus structure and fuel deductions properly when they call back.

The double up points for Mr S ends today and I have about £22 so will see if they have M1n3craft in for DS Christmas. There are 2 small £5ish items I still want to get for DS and then he is done and as the shops are just along from Mr S I may get them today too.

Plans for the rest of today include:

    Drink lots more tea :coffee:
Gammon into slow cooker (DH request which just happens to be the meal plan for today;))
Change sheets on both beds and wash/dry sheets
    Hoover upstairs
Sort and put away laundry that doesn't need ironing
Make SW chicken curry for freezer (may do the chilli today too)
Declutter cabinet (AKA the dumping ground)
    Reorganise/declutter airing cupboard
Buy mushy peas, chopped tomatoes and garlic bread (at Mr T to use up a voucher)
    Watch some more Vampire Diaries
    Read more of my book

My foot is still sore and I have worked out what it is which doesn't bode well my race next weekend and my long run on Thursday so I will have to look after it and see how I get on.

I better get a shift on if I am going to get that little lot done today!

Dear me I don't seem to have achieved much today.

I had my eye test and ordered some glasses. I have such a small face I got 'teen' ones which were a bit cheaper than adult and the test was free :D

Tidied most of the cabinet and one of the big baskets in the living room and have another 2 big bags of stuff for the tip as well as an old laptop bag and a sandwich toaster.

Beds have been stripped and sheets washed.

Spoke to the broker and it appears our IVA shouldn't show at all on our credit file so I have made calls to get that updated this afternoon. Once this has been done we should be in a good position to get a mortgage :)

Neither Mr T or Mr S had DS's game in so doubled up to get him a DVD for us all to watch over Christmas and used my last Mr T voucher against my bit of food shopping to continue with the batch cooking.

Currently watching a VD while waiting for DH to return from fat club so we can eat! He has lost another 3lb though:T

Living room is a mess again as DH emptied a big hold all over the floor looking for a running jacket! We have bagged up most of the contents of the holdall for the charity shop so another 1 has been added to my declutter total.

I am sitting here in my running gear so after another cup of tea, some porridge and rush hour I will head out for a run. My foot is a lot better this morning but I expect it to be sore again after my run.

I think I am trying to get too much done each day so need to focus on fewer tasks. I need to channel my inner GreenT to get stuff done:D My decluttering seems to be causing a bit of mess too :o

    Today's List

    [STRIKE]Run[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Tidy up down stairs![/STRIKE]
    Hoover everywhere
    [STRIKE]Make beds[/STRIKE]
    Dust living room
    [STRIKE]3 loads of washing/drying and putting away[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Make veggie chilli, chicken curry and chorizo pasta sauce and freeze in individual portions[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Meal plan until the end of December keeping spends very low[/STRIKE]
Fill up car and put through car wash
Send scanned completion certificates to credit reference company

    Tea first me thinks ;)

I made 13 SW friendly meals for the freezer today. added to the 7 I made on Monday it should keep DH fed for the next 2 weeks when I am away a lot :)

I am feeling a bit under the weather this evening, my run was tough this morning and it has taken it out of me. It wasn't very far but sometimes shorter runs wear me out:rotfl:

I have only 2 days of my holiday left :( DH has told me not to spend anymore time doing stuff in the house when it can wait to the weekend and chill out for my last 2 days. Ha! you think he would know me better, I am not good at doing nothing.:rotfl: One day I will be shopping and the other running!

I cannot get our scanner to work so will copy and post our completion certificates to Exp. tomorrow morning 1st class. They have emailed me to confirm that they will remove the record of our IVA when the certificate is received:T That is fantastic as I thought it was going to be a nightmare to get updated:)

DS has managed today to rip a hole in the front of his school shoes and has gone through the knee in another pair of school trousers.

I am going to have a mooch around the shopping centre either tomorrow or Friday as it looks like my friend wont make our catch up :( and will finish the Christmas shopping, get my shoes repaired, jeans taken up and DS school trousers bought. I will need to dip into savings to finish the Christmas shopping but not by much.

We are not going to have the house ready to put on the market by Christmas day as the tree is going up at the weekend and I haven't done any of the decorating! We are aiming for 1st March instead which gives us a month of viewings before our Easter hols.

I have decided to shop/run errands today and run tomorrow as I feel a bit groggy still this morning. Been at home doesn't agree with me it seems:rotfl:

No money news to report, pay day is Monday.

I completed my meal plan for the rest of 2015 and I should be able to keep spends low. I don't think we have enough in freezer/stores to last into January though so my Uber Frugal January plan may need to take into consideration a bit more for food spends.

My shopping list for this weekend and next week has 4 items on it and one of those is for the dog!

    Jobs for today

[STRIKE]Finish Christmas shopping ( 1 gift card, 5 small gifts, gift paper, Lego Christmas scene)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Drop off dry cleaning[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]3 bags of clothes/shoes to charity shop[/STRIKE]
Shoes re heeled ( may ask FIL to take to his cobblers as he is great and cheaper than t1mps0ns)
Look for a new dress for work (existing ones are too big or too summery) as I have 2 big presentations next week - couldn't find anything I liked
Post completion certificates to Exp3r1an - forgot to copy before I left house and have been out all day!
    [STRIKE]Jeans to be taken up
    School trousers for DS[/STRIKE]
Take light back to 1k3a and change for right one - couldn't face walking around ikea after 3 hours shopping :o
Put away a massive bag of clean underwear
Possibly swim this afternoon/evening Ran out of time
Quote for house insurance renewal tonight

If I have the time I may run the hoover round. DH is on a course most of this week and got in at 4pm yesterday so I need to point him in the direction of the ironing mountain range if he gets in early again.

So much for having a quieter day today!

Christmas shopping is complete except for 1 chocolate Santa and a bottle of prosecco I can get when I next go food shopping.

Tomorrow I am going for a long early morning run so will be feeding my face with pasta bake tonight. Apart from tidying up and possibly seeing my friend for a coffee I am not planning on doing another thing!

Picked my glasses up from Mr T tonight, 2 days after my appointment :) How good is that?:T

I am feeling very tired after my run and hot bath this morning. I cant see me getting much done except to push the hoover around and dust the living room. Everywhere else is OK so it can wait until Sunday.

Home insurance renewal due next week and I have signed up elsewhere (via TCB on a good promotion) for half what I was paying last year:eek: That's not even including the cashback! The cover is actually for a higher amount too and a lower excess.

I was pleased with my run as ran just under the race distance I am running next Sunday so feel confident I can finish it. Dodgy foot started hurting at 4 miles but wore off :D I will do a shorter run off road this Sunday and next Friday and will be good to go:)

DH and I are taking DS to the cinema on Saturday, it's the first time we will have been as a family. I took DS when he was about 3 and he was a nightmare and it put me off taking him again but since he was 4 his Grandad takes him all the time.

    Sunday the :xmastree:is going up!

  • Great service on the specs.
Who are you going on the market with?

We are going with the local NE agent that we used to sell our previous property and who also marketed our current property. It looks like we will put it on the market 1st March and hopefully have sold it by the time we go away at Easter. Fingers crossed.

I know I should probably try another couple of agents but I am happy with their service, fees and the sale price is spot on what I expected.
