How long from credit search to offer?

We had our valuation done a fortnight ago for a mortgage with nationwide, we have just had an alert confirming our credit files have been searched again by nationwide....

How long from the search on full application until people recieved an answer or offer for mortgage?

    When the case has been fully underwritten and plausibility check completed.

    Unfortunately with Nationwide neither the valuation nor the credit check give you any indication as to how far they have got with the above

    Would the fact that it's being credit checked again not mean it's being looked at?

    Probably, but doesn't tell you what is yet to be agreed.

    Nationwides system is a complete mess right now, no point trying to second guess what's going on, just smile and supply what you're asked for and wait
