Hi guys, had an email from DPD this morning saying
"Your DSV order is due for delivery on Monday 12th October
On the morning of the Monday 12th October you'll receive a 1 hour delivery window and you'll be able to live track your order on its way to you. Please ensure that someone is available to sign for your delivery at:
Cxxxx Kxxxxxx
41 Commerce Road
London
N22 8DZ"
Only problem is, I don't live in London and never have done. My name is correct on the email though and they've obv got my email address. I have no idea who DSV are either. Google seems to think it's a foreign transport company. Have tried asking DPD for the sender name but they've been no help as per.
What should I do?

Call DPD tell them you received delivery text but the address is not right on it.
They can check on their system and can update it or give you more information.
Don't ask where is it coming from, they won't give you that information.
Obviously you're expecting a parcel and must have made a purchase recently so you can confirm the sender. Unless you ordered million items.
Good luck.0 -
It could be a win.:rotfl::beer::j0

Malicious phishing email.....0

I agree that it's likely just a phishing email.
Worth double checking your bank statements just in case someone is using your name and card info to buy stuff though.Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0 -
It's not a phishing email, I've checked with DPD and there really is a parcel with my name and email address on it. It's taken them
Two hours to get back to me with just a "theory" that the sender must have put the wrong name and email address on it. They won't give me any more information on it other than that it's been handed over to them from a freight forwarding company called DSV Solutions LTD.
I haven't ordered a single thing, so it's either a win going to the wrong place or someone's messed up0 -
Check your Amazon account if you have one - this happened to a friend of mine a couple of months ago when someone managed to access his account, ordered something using up his Amazon gift vouchers on his account, then tried to have it delivered to an address a hundred or so miles away from where he lives.
He was able to keep delaying the delivery via DPD then persuaded them to return it to the sender, so at least the thief wouldn't benefit from the £40 worth of sweets (!) they'd ordered with his vouchers.
Amazon are investigating.Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20100 -
It's alright guys, sussed it after lots of phone calls and being bounced around. It's a win that I won months ago that never showed up. The company claimed they had posted it but sent it out again. It seems they've been sending it to the complete wrong address and that's why I haven't received my win.
Have emailed them to let them know that I don't live in London :rotfl:0 -
Glad it's sorted. Last time I got a parcel with my address but someone else's name on it my credit card had been scammed/cloned and the baddies phoned pretending to be the courier wanting to collect it. It freaked me out! Luckily they didn't come as I claimed it had already been returned/collected.Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0

Oh my god hannonle, I can't believe people are that ballsy to do that! That would scare the s*** out of me!
I've had my card clones many times but luckily no money has ever been taken before the bank cottoned on and cancelled the cards0
