Basically all i have done is followed the advice in this forum and on the main sight.
I have switched energy, telephone, broadband, house insurance, breakdown cover for the car, got sky down from £67 to £8 per month i was going to get rid all together but wanted a record facility on Sky plus and they let me keep most of my fav channels except sport.
Got rid of everything else i didn't really need and set a budget for everything else like food, petrol spending etc.
Things are going to be tight for quite a while but at least i am getting on top of things and i have learned not to take my eye off the ball and to keep checking my finances regularly and to keep looking for better ways of doing things.

  • Well done
It takes a few months to get used to living frugally but once you get going you'll find that you've actually got more money than you ever had before.
Hope it all goes well for you
