We were in the same situation about a year ago where our affordability was fine, we did have some past credit issues and partner had 2 settled defaults on her account. however due to a couple of paydays that were about 3 months old we were struggling. I contacted equity finance and a guy called Tim Strong([EMAIL="tim.strong@theselectpartnership.co.uk"]tim.strong@theselectpartnership.co.uk[/EMAIL]) and he was brilliant and sorted our Mortgage out with Precise Mortgages. Yes we are paying a higher Interest but expected that with our issues and have been on the ladder now a year and hoping soon we will be able renegotiate our Mortgage.

I have crappy credit but my bf has great credit we have just been offered a mortgage at 70% LTV with Precise...best thing get a good broker and they will tell you if possible
