Who Do I Contact?

Hi there

We have had an AIP for a remortgage, from a lender that deals with adverse credit. In our case, very adverse credit - so yayyy!

One of the conditions is that an unsecured joint loan which I am no longer liable for, is cleared.

I'm really asking for advice on how to go about doing this. The loan is now part of an IVA which my ex is about 1 year through.

Do I contact the IVA people or do I contact the company that provided the loan to get a full and final settlement figure OR do I just straight to a solicitor now.

The end result must be to have the loan removed from my credit file!

Thanks
