dmp when creditor is linked to your mortgage

i am still considering the dmp option. i am wondering if my mortgage is with natwest will there be problems if i owe on my natwest and mint card which i have just noticed are linked to natwest. when i signed up for the natwest card i am sure there was a warning that if you also have a mortgage they would treat it similar to a default on a mortgage payment if you could not pay.
I cannot currently afford the minimum payments until i sell my property to clear the whole debt, would i be advised to pay off natwest and mint card before entering a dmp i owe 1000 and 1500 on each. my father has said he will lend me some to help until i sell, i was expecting to have to clear the natwest card but didnt realise mint were linked.
any guidance appreciated

I have some debt and my mortage with the same creditor, I'm a year into a DMP and it hasnt affected my mortgage at all.
The only problem I have is that my fixed rate period has ended, and I would struggle to get another offer now due to my credit history. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
