I shall keep an eye on this thread. I have had a Nutri Ninja for a few months now and I blend every morning.
My staples are either spinach or kale (or sometimes both), one stick of celery, one apple and a handful of walnuts. That is usually my base, I then add whatever else is is around in the fridge, generally I buy vac pack beetroot, red cabbage, pitted dates, frozen blueberries.
I make a breakfast smoothie for DS which consists of apple, banana, natural yogurt, and about 3 small pieces of each pineapple and mango, which I buy frozen from Costco.
I also look out for unsweetened coconut water and almond milk when they're on offer.
I have no idea about the health benefits, but I do enjoy them and it's a way of getting some fruit in DS's diet.
If you do not know, you can freeze peeled bananas which blend well and great if you run out of fresh ones.

I like pineapple. Cucumber, spinach, parsley sometimes with a bit of Apple too.
Mango kale & banana

hey, sainsburys have started stocking there frozen fruits again in the basic range. £1.50 400g, and they taste yummy, much cheaper than 500g for £2.00Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

The Nutri Ninja Slim is currently on offer for £39 at Currys - would this do the same job as the Pro? It's 700 watts against 1000 so wonder if it would cope with apple skins and nuts - not just soft fruit. Does anybody have one of these?
I'm wavering between this one and the Salter Pro which is 1000 on offer at Dyas for similar price.
I've aso just seen the Tower Vitablend in Homebase for £35 and that's 1200 watts.0 -
Can I ask the Nutribullet owners here is there are any particular recipie books you find fantastic for this machine? My mum is a Nutribullet owner and has a smoothie for breakfast every day, she's been doing this for over 6 months now!
I was trying to think of Christmas presents which would be of some use to her and know she likes food orientated gifts (but not food as a gift) Does anyone have any books they find especially fantastic or things they find good to use with the Nutribullet?0 -

I do mine with coconut water rather than tap water.
I usually do protein shakes in them and some of my faves are
Mixed berries with vanilla protein powder and either plain or lemon coconut water
Add a banana to if using plain water.
Banana chocolate protein powder and peanut butter is another good one.0 -
I have a Nutribullet and frozen mango with anything works really well. I also really like Granny Smith apple with celery and lemon. Granny Smiths work better than other apples I've tried.
I got the Nutribullet soup book on Amazon and am always whizzing up concoctions.0
