London to Balcombe

I will be travelling from Balcombe to London, off peak, on Friday 9th Oct leaving Balcombe any time between 3-7pm I am getting conflicting results when I try to find out which trains I am allowed to travel on off peak. Please could someone with more knowledge than me give me any advice? Are all trains valid or just certain ones? Thank you for any help.

Route THAMESLINK ONLY

ADULT £11.50

(the fare is 10p cheaper if you only require a single, and is reduced by 1/3 if you hold a Railcard)

The first train it's valid after the morning peak is the 0922 service, and there are no evening peak restrictions whatsoever.

Note that the "THAMESLINK ONLY" fares are to be increased in price over the next year or two and will then be withdrawn, and only the "ANY PERMITTED" routeing will be available. This is because all the trains are now operated by Govia Thameslink Railway (though there are disputes about ticket validity on trains which are operated by Govia Thameslink Railway but have alternative branding, discussed here: Govia Thameslink Railway: Issues regarding ticket validity across brands)
