London to Bexleyheath

I am visiting a relation on Tuesday 13th Oct and need to travel to Bexleyheath from central London and return the same day, off peak. My easiest station to start from is London Bridge but with all the reconstruction work going on there I'm not sure whether I have to go to Charing Cross instead? I can't work it out from the timetables as I'm not familiar enough with the routes. Basically i want to know where I should start my journey from, London Bridge or Charing Cross, and where will the return journey bring me back to? Many thanks for any help.

There are, for most of the day, 2 trains per hour (tph) from London Victoria, 2tph from Cannon Street & London Bridge and 2tph from Charing Cross & Waterloo (East).

The latter would normally call at London Bridge in addition, giving a total of 4tph from London Bridge, but are not calling presently due to the ongoing extensive rebuilding works.

    When did Bexleyheath leave London?

TheTrainLine or any other train enquiries/booking site will tell you the train times. If you know you want to travel by train it's easier to use those than TfL's website as TfL will throw in buses, tube etc.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning
