GE Money Home Lending

Hi can anyone help
In 2003 we bought a kitchen, Living Design (Home Imp Ltd) who have ceased trading. This was done through finance and we were told no PPI NO Finance that was it. This loan was originally by First National who was took over in 2003 by GE Money Lending, insurance Policy Underwriter Cardiff Pinnacle.
I wrote to GE Money only to get back what seems one of there standard letters saying they neither sold the PPI OR was they present, so they cannot investigate.
As they state this is there final response. My husband was stilling paying till he was71 and yet he had a letter stating when he was 65 the PPI he was no longer covered, talk about mis selling.
Any help would be more than appreciated.

You complain to the seller. Not the lender (unless the seller was a representative of the lender). So, in this case you would complain to the kitchen company. However, they no longer exist. So, you would complain to the FSCS. However, FSCS protection only came in january 2005 and you brought in 2003. So, the FSCS wont consider your complaint.

That leaves one option which has very limited success but its all you have left. You complain to Cardiff Pinnacle.

Mine was near enough identical. GE Money (2003) Kitchen Extension. Went after the insurance company through FOS and received a refund.
