Net Curtains / Voile

An elderly relative has a timber framed sun-room at the back of her house.
She wants some privacy during the day, so was thinking of getting some net curtains. The total length of the windows is about 24 feet.
I think all she wants are a few of those plastic coated wires fitted above each window and some simple net curtain material.
As I'll be fitting it (and know as much about curtains as I know about moon-walking) I want something easy to fit. The windows are timber, so fitting the wee eyelets should be easy. Trying to buy exact curtains of the exact height is probably going to be tricky. Do I just need to cut the voile at the right length, or does it need sewn.
Is there a sleeve along the top, where the wire goes through ?
Finally can I buy everything online, or is there a better option on the high street. Maybe Wilko does it
thank you

When you buy nets you walk into the shop with the "drop" length - and that's printed on the rolls.... you then go along the rolls looking for that drop printed on the tickets/price. If you intend the nets to stop on/above the sill then AVOID the scalloped bottom ones else you'll end up with a bit that doesn't fit down to the sill.
When you buy nets you ask for the width you want. It's on the roll, effectively, "sideways", so you'll see the top/bottom of the actual net are on the roll on the left/right hand sides.
So you're looking for the drop on the sizing on the ticket - and buying by the width. "Ah, look, this ticket says it's a 60cm drop - that's what I want .... Please can I have 2 metres of that one"
Nets come with a seam for sticking the wire through, you'll see this at one end of the roll or the opposite end.
Hope that makes sense.
For width ... which creates the pleats ... most people will tell you "buy 2x the width of the window".
I got mine from dunelmmill; they've a good range of cheap nets in lots of sizes.0 -

Thank you for your very detailed reply.
In the end I went to Yorkshire Linen in North Shields who were very helpful ... and pretty cheap too.
Got everything sorted ... curtains are up
