Hi there,
Any advice on paying off debt?
I've been going round and round in circles for quite a few years and it all started off with a gambling addiction. I've just bever seemed to get out of the rut which started with this horrible addiction and always tried (not hard enough...I guess). Starting from today, I'm going to try.....let me rephrase that - I AM GOING TO PAY OFF THE DEBT I OWE!! I am going to note my outstanding debt below and follow up with an entry each month to show the progression of paying it off. Anyone is welcome to join. I thought I would post here also for some help, advice and motivation in order for me to do this successfully. 'All aboard'
Vanquis - £265.00
Barclaycard - £383.00
Ratesetter Loan - £3,472.54
Overdraft Limit - £3,000.00
TOTAL - £7,120.54 - Aiming to be debt free by October 2016. Wish me luck :}
Cheers
Scott

Hi Scott, welcome!
Well done for wanting to say 'enough' and to work at your debt.
The first place to start, for everyone here to see what youre up to, is to put together a SOA (statement of affairs) and details (honestly) all your incomings and outgoings...
