New Solar Installation - Essex

Hi All
I've recently moved into a property and wanted to get solar installed ASAP.
I've had 3 quotes which are ranging from 7k to 7.5k for a 4kW system with 16 panels.
Looking at the forum this seems high and I was hoping someone could recommend 1 or 2 companies I can get quotes from which are cheaper.
I'm in Waltham Abbey, Essex and would definitely appreciate any advice.
Thanks!

Seriously, have a look at Ebay.
Don't bother with companies that offer a survey for squid, but look at the others.
Search for 4kw solar install, you'll be amazed and most of them will travel, but only when they get the job. Initial survey will be done by google maps and your house number/postcode - that will give a solid base for quoting.4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -
Have a look at https://www.yougen.co.uk as they are a good source of info for all sorts of green energy information0
