I've followed Shirley's blog for some time now. In May, she was being assessed for care needs as her health was not too good. After the loss of her husband she was struggling.
There has been no news on her blog for some time now - does anybody know how she's doing?

I'm sorry to hear this.I used to read her blog regularly then went back to it a while ago and was sad to hear that she was on her own. She gave such good advice, loads of cookery tips and recipes and had a nice chatty writing style.i used to laugh when Norma the hair was coming to do her hair. I that's what she called her.
