SLC contact the address you give as your erm well contact address. You can choose that to be either your home address or your term time address.
Yes true. I would presume, though, that a company chasing a debt would also try alternative contact methods provided when I initially registered for it.At 18 years old you are an adult and able to obtain credit. Any lender an 18 year old owes money to can go to court to get a CCJ awarded against them, age doesn't come into it.
I 100% agree.
My situation was not clear cut. The grant/loan/whatever was paid for 1 semester and I dropped out halfway through. It is not immediately clear that you aren't entitled to the full amount (1 semester worth only) of the grant. It is probably buried away in Ts and Cs, but alas I was young and naive. Lesson learned.
Besides, I don't give a monkeys about this now. It was 8 years ago and it has been sorted. I just used it as an example which hopefully helped OP in some way.0 -
