Lidl Valley Spire is, guessing about £4.42kg. Same price for Extra Mature, Mature and Light. Comes in blocks at £1.55 and occasionally reduced. Also larger blocks for mature.
Aldi's is about the same, £1.55 for 350g when I bought it last week.

Makro and Costco have much bigger slabs, but I don't think they cost less weight for weight. Anything under £5/kg is a good deal tbh.

I just bought a few blocks of mature cheddar at Costco for £3.98/kg. They normally do larger sizes, called bladens, a little cheaper.

^^ Good price, as long as you've already paid for membership.

Put us out of our misery, what are you going to do with this bulk purchase?

I have recently looked into bulk cheddar prices, for those interested to take over t my family in France lol. Interesting to note that Tescos value extra mature is £7 a kilo as opposed to their non value which is £5 @ kilo. So we tried Sainsbrys value extra mature, the family and the French lot won't eat anything else now and at £4.50 a kilo its a bargain in my book xx
