  • Look like good quality, may have to pick one up :) Thanks.
  • Thank you - I got one for my husband's birthday today, in brown. In Alnwick Aldi they have orange, jade/turquoise, brown and grey. Now we are retired the heating will only go on in late winter!

I bought one for MIL for xmas. Having already got the two throws from Boots last month. Not sure of quality as we haven't opened it but I am sure she will be pleased.
  • did you machine wash it? I bought one today & it says to hand wash not machine wash

Mine also said hand wash only. It also said do not use hand wash cycle on washing machines!

If you don't want something electric, they also have a photo print polar sherpa fleece throw, it's about the size of a big single duvet, and I have actually swapped my duvet for it.. it is so warm & cosy. It's about £15.

Thank you to all those who post competitions!
  • got one the other 2 days ago and liked them so go another.
The washing is ok, we had under blanket which was washable and lasted for years. As long as you don't put it in the dryer. If you have a Washer dryer make sure you don't program it to dry it....
I got my under blanket tested by electrician once after it being used/washed for years and it still passed.

These are a great buy, and much nicer than the Boots ones that look like a dead animal ;)

It's got a thermostat attached to the cord, so controlled by that.
That might be just for the overheat protection. When you turn the switch, can you feel 9 notches or does it turn smoothly? A plug-in current monitor would be ideal for determining the information I need.
