Help for undereye bags

Sorry if this has been asked before but: can anyone recommend an effective method/product for dealing with under eye bags. I am in my late 60s and they seem to have arrived suddenly. I don't smoke, get 8 hours sleep a night and drink plenty of water.
There seem to be lots of products like Touche Eclat for dark circles but I don't have those, just saggy, baggy under eye pillows - at present the best thing seems to be cucumber, and most other things are really expensive, so don't want to stump up for something that doesn't work. There's a limited amount of time I can spend with cucumber on my eyes !!!
Many thanks.......

  • Hi, you have my sympathies. I have inherited dark under-eye bags, so have spent many years trying different things. The only one that worked for me is Bremmen Hylexin - pretty expensive, but you can get it for a reasonable price via European suppliers now the Euro's down. I saw a real difference after 3-4 weeks. Good luck!
  • Hate to be the bringer of bad tidings, but I think plastic surgery would be the only effective way. Yes, it's expensive, I had a lower face lift as a had chipmunk jawline, but within 2 months I looked like I was 5 years younger. I really don't think there is anything that would melt the bags away cosmetically :(

True surgery is the only real answer.

But if you wear makeup, you can disguise them a little. Lighter concealer in the deeper bit and slightly darker on the bits raised up. Blend well.

Or in the words of Christopher Drummond US make up artist. You are the one worrying about what you think others are seeing. No one will be pointing at you and laughing. You no doubt are really the only person who notices.:T
