PI Claim passed on by Solicitor

Can anyone offer any advice? I started a PI claim with a local Solicitor who's last communication with me was that the claim had been acknowledged by the company the claim is against. I received a letter today being advised that due to 'personal circumstances' my claim was now being handled by another 'fee earner' at a completely different solicitor who will review the case. Furthermore, if they don't wish to persue then another Solicitor was named and they will look at it?
I'm very confused, this is an accident at work claim which I think is pretty straightforward although not worth a great deal. Any help appreciated!
