transfer some debt to card or not?

I owe bank several thousand (loan / overdraft etc). I have £1,200 owing on the bank's credit card. Limit is £2,000.
Whilst I'm working out my situation should I at least pay off £800 onto my card as the guy who rang from the banks collection dept suggested (well pressured!). Haven't yet told them I cant pay.
Has taken me 2 months to work out my SOA & there are still some vague bits!

Firstly, is there any point to the transfer... I mean if you can't pay one, how are you going to pay the other?
Put your SOA on, even with its vague bits, and we can have a look for you. Also include amounts owed, minimum repayments and the interest charges if you can.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0
