Just joined as I have a query.
Declared myself Bankrupt in June 2009. Discharged December 2009.
Just (I know!) decided to check my credit rating/file. No mention of Bankruptcy but a Car Hire Purchase Agreement shows a default each month from December 2009 to date. Each month a default. Is this normal? When will it stop? Can I do anything about it?
PS The car was repossessed/taken away by them.

Does it say satisfied anywhere? It should, if it doesn't.
However, if initial default is Dec 2009 then the whole thing, history and all, will drop off in December no matter what. So probably isn't worth the hassle of disputing.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

The bankruptcy falls off 6 years from the date of bankruptcy so will have come off around June this year.
Assuming the car agreement was taken out before the bankruptcy in June 2009 then the default shouldn't have been applied in December 2009 (and the balance should have been written off as part of the bankruptcy). You can write to the company that has registered the default with details of your bankruptcy number and ask them to adjust the date of the default (which would effectively be the same as removing it). If they refuse you can take the matter to the Information Commissioner (but Fermi is right - this will take time and the information will drop off in December this year anyway).
