Is this property company a scam?

Hello, I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge or experience of a company called I Buy Homes, see website https://www.ibuyhomes.co.uk

My situation is- I have just learned I've been offered a job in America, starting November 1st. I want to sell my UK house as quickly as possible, as I know of a great house for sale in US, ideal location to the job. Selling my house quickly would put me in a great position to place an offer on the US house. I can accept a reduced valuation (10-20% off?) if the sale is quick- homes are much cheaper in this part of the US. So is this "I Buy Homes" a reputable company, or is it too good to be true?? Thanks everybody.

No idea about this firm, although selling cheap to for a quick sale is nothing new, -
could ask local estate agent if they have any "cash buyers"  to compare what you would get

Be careful of requests for cash upfront. You would of course employ your own legal advisers

The site you mention does seem to have a lot of potentially helpful info, also mentions a Ltd company - so would be fairly easy to see if they exist

Theres a company I have dealt with called 'Move on Now'. They do a similar thing. Found them OK. call 01474364321 ask for Doug. see what he has to say

Thank you very much for your replies.

I think I will try some local enquiries, and then contact Your Move Now and I Buy Homes as Plan B.

I may have found a buyer- the previous owners! Strange coincidence- when I bought their house they emigrated to France, and now they are back in town and want to move back to our village. But if that doesn't work out, its nice to know I have other options.
