How do you find Noddle?

For me it is a mixed bag. Top marks for the fact is it free, but I queried something recently. I contacted the provider (Halifax) and Noddle. Halifax's response really didn't say anything of note, and Noddle states they have contacted Halifax but had not response.
My only option at this stage is to use one of the big credit reference agencies to get my statutory report. I suspect Noddle is wrong and Halifax is not in fact still reporting this account as in default. However the question remains what's the point in Noddle listing information which is inaccurate and, assuming their info is correct, why providers are allowed to provide (and CRA's blindly accept) any info they like about accounts?
I know Noddle and the like say they only record the information, and I know they are only following the rules as they understand the, but for me this isn't good enough. Noddle and I know I am bankrupt, and they know I and discharge (it shows the date of discharge on their website). Therefore they know anyone defaulting me for pre bankruptcy debts is at best lying or at worst in error.
Why is the onus still on the individual???
Sorry for rant, marks for me 3 out of 5. Noddle gives you some idea, a kind of ball park figure for how things are looking if you like, but you need to pay the £2 to check properly with Equifax or Experian.

Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.

Noddle is not a credit reference agency they use the information Callcredit holds to create a report.
Try Clearscore as well which is free and uses data collected from the Equifax CRA.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Noddle is CallCredit, it doesn't simply use their information.
"use one of the big credit reference agencies [instead]"
There are three, of which CallCredit (Noddle) is one of them.
ClearScore on the other hand is a separate entity to Equifax, and does simply take data from Equifax (one of the other two CRAs) to represent it. I've found both Noddle and ClearClore accurate, at least for me.
It is always sensible to check data at with all three CRAs, and correct anything that needs correcting. Not all data goes to every CRA.0 -
They seem slow to update and have steadfastly refused to accept I am on the Electoral roll and have been for years. I have challenged them about it and they insist I am not on the register despite confirmation from my local council. I gave up in the end - the other agencies all show me as being registered.0

My score is shocking with noddle, 1/5 yet I'm now excellent with experian. I do have an aqua card (just had limit increased a third time, pay it off monthly) and while on experian it shows they searched my credit record, the credit card itself doesn't show. Roll on May when my BR finally drops off my record.BR 27 May 10 Discharged 27 May 110

its a bizarre mixed bag, I have often raised issues with them for info held and they always refer you onto someone else and state they cant help as well as being totally out of sync. The other CRA's report wildly different reports from noddle....but its what it isI love green dots :T I hate red dots :mad:0
