Pension fund rapidly losing money

    My pension had 55k in 12 months ago..phoned up yesterday and was told it was now 51k...is that a big drop

    No. It is a very small drop. Just 7.3%. For context, a stockmarket correction is 10%. A crash is 20%. Credit crunch saw 43%. A very similar amount to the dot.com period.

    What did you put into the pension int he last 12 months?

    What is it invested in? How did it do over the last 5 years?

    It's pretty rubbish performance, but as above look at the performance over 5 years or so and check that against the competition/markets.
