Meeting with a mortgage adviser

Hi
Next week my husband and I are meeting with a mortgage advisor.
What sort of details should I have ready for him.
We currently have a mortgage and are looking to move.
We have someone coming to value our house on friday.
What documentation might the mortgage adviser want?
Thanks

Check your credit reports both o you of all three agenciesm call credit, equifax and experian. See if there any issues in your history, ignore the score, lenders don't look at that.
For the mortgage advisor they will usually want 3 months of payslips and current bank account statements where your salary and deposit is put in. If your self employed you will need at least 2 years of SA302 +/- company accounts
Hope it goes well, hope your not using Estate agent's mortgage advisors."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Your best bet is to ask the broker themselves what they want from you.
Some brokers ask for all paperwork and your kitchen sink up front whereas others just want basic info.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.
