How to convey the solicitors?

Seller is chain free, and I'm a first time buyer. I have a mortgage offer received and solicitors appointed two weeks ago. They had a solicitor appointed since may, as last sale fell through. I have deposit ready, and solicitors don't seem to be playing along.
Mine says the other didn't send all the documents (property is leasehold and "the lease" was not sent).
The other one claims everything was sent.
Any tips to as to how to figure out how to get them moving and well talking to each other?
What can I do, that my solicitor has to oblige? Ask them to send re-request to the other one? Get a copy of their letter receiving register? Call up the seller's solicitor? Get a conference call between them?
I received my mortgage offer in the post today, my solicitor didn't mark the status tracking website that this has happened. How should I chase them up on it?
Regards,
Dimitri.

Ask the vendor to ask their solicitor to send the lease again, whether it was already sent or not.0

1. Leasehold cases are much more complex and take time.
2. Solicitors always blame each other for delays its part of the game
3. You are not their manager so any thought or telling them what to send or setting up conference calls is pie in the sky.
4. Your solicitor is probably going to receive their copy of the mortgage offer today - no way they would necessarily know of the offer before you. They cannot update what they are not aware of.
The best thing you can do is speak to your vendor. Establish they are still going ahead and agree a realistic target date (not next Friday). Both of you then speak to your solicitors and make it clear to them you want the deal done by xxx.I am a Mortgage Broker
