which works out the cheepest and best?
i used to use the persil non bio liquid caps but i seemed to buy loads and they are rather expensive.
i have recently bought powder non bio persil 7kl which was about £15. is that ok? or is there something similar and cheeper?
i tend to do about 5 loads of washing a week.
also any tips about gettiing dirt stains out of a white work jacket would greatly be appreciated.

I would love to know this too. I use persil non bio as I have kids but I think I need something else as food marks don't come out of light colours and especailly not the white school polo shirts which I ended up turning yellow. Some one has suggested that a bio powder cleans better is this the case?0

hi I use tesco tablets they are 2.50 for 24 washes but you get 48 tablets if your washing isn't that dirty only worn daily like my family do:eek: you you only need to use 1 tablet in each wash and you can use them at 30 degrees as well:j0

yes unless you know you are allergic you will get the best clean from a bio powder - which ever is your personal fav - although for just refreshing clothes that are not 'dirty' a little of a cheapo own brand is fine
Having said that some people here swear by home made washing 'gloop' & I'm sure someone will post a linky soon!I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0 -
WHat about mixing some of the non bio powder with some soda crystals ? Alternatively you could email some of the big manufacturers re trying samples of their products & they may send you some to try (bit cheeky I know but it usually works !) - I've found my kids can use Bold & Persil Bio (DS has excema) so if i've bad stains I know I can use these instead.
