  • Also had a Boots Advantage Card mailing in the post this morning. There is a voucher in there for additional £10 worth of points when you spend £60 valid until 27th October.

And dates of 'invited' promo events at the end of October where if you spend £50 in store you get £10 worth of points!

Some lucky people got an invite to an event tonight or tomorrow for the launch of the catalogue. In those stores there is £10 for £50 spend on the day

Is there any indication as to why they have dropped the points from £12 per £50 spend down to £10? I guess it's not too surprising after the 75% sale went to 70% a couple of years back....still an excellent deal!

I'm after a camera upgrade from a bridge to a proper SLR and the points back would be ace!

Apparently they discussed dropping the points totally from the events

Then they wouldn't be 'events' at all in my eyes, glad they've kept them, they probably realised what a huge profit they make on these nights!

I also had a booklet with the above in. The 25% off a Christmas gift voucher didn't appear to have any special T&Cs about not using it with star gifts, only that you can use it on anything with the green parcel sticker, so may be able to get a bargain with that?

TBH 70% of it is the same old rubbish year on year, they seem to change only the packaging and the price, there's been no imagination in Boots' Christmas gifts for about 5 years now, whoever is in charge of it wants sacking.
