Walked through Boots today and there was a stand with Bodyform products, and they are encouraging women to 'buy an extra pack to send to a 3rd world country' Can't remember what country but just remember it making me really angry, surely women already have means of dealing with menstruation, and developing countries dont…

you only need to boil mooncup for 1 min for most bacteria to be killed.

you don't need disinfectants or 'milton'.

however, if the water you have started off with is dirty, this is what carries diease.

as for HIV virus, it can't live outside of the host for longer than 24 hours (or someone can correct me?!), so there for the rivers etc are not polluted by HIV, but by excrement etc.
