Just ordered a nokia 1100 through the link - thanks £1.99 effectively. While I was at it I got a nokia 3200 just a measly £19.99 effectively - camera phone well worth it.
Thanks

Just had a quick look on ebay and these nokia 1100s are selling for £20+ without sim cards! Anyone looking to make a few quid?

The nokia 3200s are £50+
Wow!

Does anyone know whether the £25 airtime credit comes as a voucher that could be used on any virgin phone? When I bought a Virgin phone las year that is how the extra airtime credit was provided.Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0

£5 of the airtime is with the new SIM so that can't be used with another phone but the £20 airtime is in the form of a voucher that you can use with any phone on the Virgin network.0 -

umm.. .ive just had a look and 3200`s are going for 30quid, with a few going for nearly 40quid if your lucky.
So, based upon that you`d pay 44.99 for the phone, sell it on ebay for a loss of 15quid. Then, if you put the £20 vouchure on there, you could get £15 for that, resulting in you getting your money back & making zero profit. In fact, after the fee`s you`d be at a loss.
The 1100`s are going for 20->25quid, so you`d only loose a few quid on that phone, and if you sold the £20 vouchure for £15 you`d be about 10quid up overall.0 -
I just received my 1100 - delighted! - when I (hopefully!) receive my free O2 SIM will it still display "Virgin Extras" on the menu; is it programmed into the phone somehow or does it just appear because it knows that I am currently using the Virgin SIM ?0

The Virgin Extras are there because you have a Virgin SIM in the phone, it's part of being on the Virgin network. You may find that if you put an O2 SIM in it won't recognise it because the phone might be locked to Virgin, but I believe these phones can be unlocked - I've never tried but I'm sure someone here can help you with this. You won't get the Virgin Extras with the O2 SIM though.

Can't argue at the price, as mentioned in the article the simple layout and torch would make it handy for elderly relatives.
Tried to order postage was £2.99 and discount code was out of dateso followed Redfox's link :j ordered one, :T

Have unlocked phone - am hoping the Virgin Extras will not be displayed when using SIM of a different company (wasn't sure whether Virgin Extras is programmed into phone or into the SIM)0
