...there shouldn't be any National Rail season tickets to Moorgate still alive as it's no longer an NR destination.

What's happened to the other NR line (Finsbury Park-Moorgate)?

Apparently that doesn't stop the veneer of expertise!

I lived in London for several decades, and lived in various locations around Zones 2 & 3 for most of that time. I was always keen to find journey options that saved time and/or money.

Having moved away a few years ago, I'm probably out of touch with the latest changes, but the way these things go, I'm still probably better informed than many people who still live there. (I found that people rarely knew much about transport outside their quarter of the capital).

I'm not sure what an overground ticket is.
    Sorry, I mean National Rail.
Are the fares you're quoting monthly prices?
The small ones are single fares, and the £100s are monthly season. Yes, some of the anomalies appear because the Season Ticket calculator sometimes provides a point-to-point option, and sometimes does not.

£6.50 is not shown by the single fare finder so I have no idea how that was charged.
This is the suggested fare provided in the "with Oyster fare" box on the National Rail Journey Planner. The route shown is: Wimbledon-Vauxhall-Highbury & Islington-Old Street.

Sorry, I was referring to journeys via the Thameslink route (via Farringdon) - there certainly shouldn't be any season tickets for journeys on that route around any more.

The 'Northern City' line from Finsbury Park remains in business.

There was a transitional period when National Rail tickets to Moorgate were valid for travel on the Underground (from Farrington to Moorgate), but that's over, not least because there shouldn't be any National Rail season tickets to Moorgate still alive as it's no longer an NR destination.
National Rail tickets which are valid between Finsbury Park and London Terminals are valid on LU between King's Cross or Finsbury Park and Moorgate, but not intermediately (other than Old Street & Highbury & Islington). However I appreciate you were talking about tickets from other origins, on the Thameslink route.

(That said, saying "the Thameslink route" may be a cause of confusion for anyone reading this in years to come, as the trains via Finsbury Park will be running through the Thameslink route in the not too distant future! Damn this is complicated...!)

Nothing, other than it's getting a weekend service soon.

I think that is offering a combination of tickets.

For Oyster/contactless fares within the relevant area, use the TfL single fares finder instead.

It's Old Street, so I think it's 2 busses rather than just the one

Holy mother of God you'd seriously consider traveling by bus at rush hour from Waterloo to Old Street and back???

It's around 1 hour in each direction!!
