Sorry if this has been mentioned before. I wondered what people do about the gleam comps when it wants to link with your twitter accounts. It says it can access your account and information, read and post..
Do people avoid these competitions or allow it to access your accounts? I don't know if i'm being paranoid for no reason, but i haven't allowed it yet and tend to close the page and ditch the competition.

Arg. That makes sense. It's me being an idiot then and thinking random posts will appear in my account as if they're from me, and not competition posts. I read it completely wrong this whole time. Oops.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120

Although you might intend it to be for competitions you are granting access for it to post anything on your behalf (however unlikely it may be that they do so). Some apps are worse and want to follow people as well as post for you.0 -
If you go to your twitter account and look at your settings, you can see all of the apps that you have allowed to have access and revoke any that you wish to revoke, so it may be worth doing this from time to time.0

Thanks. I'll be doing that. Besides comping I don't really use Twitter, so know very little about it compared to Facebook.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120

some comps i have seen 'allow' a twitter a/c to sign on, but the still want all contact info.. rather defeats the object!
I clear all linked apps, after entering via twitter, just for my own peace of mind..breathe in, breathe out- You're alive! Everything else is a bonus, right? RIGHT??0
