Does anyone know when they are announcing the winner? T&C's have disappeared off the site as the comp closed on Thursday last week

T&C's said the winner would be notified within 7 days of the end of the draw. Fingers crossed it's one of us:D

I was wondering about this yesterday too and then I had a dream last night that involved getting the winning phone call for £1mil and £5,000 cruise vouchers. Shame it wasn't reality but congrats to the winner!

Anyone know who / if anyone actually won this? The winners details seem to have been removed from the link above, despite older competitions still appearing.

Andi Peter's twitter account said he contacted the winner on the 28th September, and SHE would be on Good Morning Britain at 07:40 am the next day (29th September 2015) but it does not seem to have happened as far as I can tell from around 7:10 am to the end of the programme. It's currently on ITV player if anyone is more inclined to check?

Seems very strange.

I know ITV were investigated by OFCOM in 2007 and were previously caught out in the unfair competitions scandal, but is there anything to stop them declaring a winner, disqualifying them for a "breach of the T&Cs" and then legitimately pocketing the cash? It was an expensive competition for them to run, as the prize was tax free and they would need to cover income tax of almost another million on top of the prize money. A bad time for big cash prizes as it coincides with a drop in ITV's shares of almost 15%.

Does anyone know what happened?

Nothing happened, the winners details are still in the same place on the link given above, you have to look further down the page and not on the "click on" show headings.


There is no tax to pay by them or the winner, in the very unlikely event that the calls didn't cover the value of the prize and a handsome profit for them they would be able to offset the cost against other profits so save tax.


They simply choose another winner if they need to anyway.


(From their last accounts the profits they made from competitions INCREASED by £4,000,000 and that was when free web entry was still available for some or all)

Not that share price has anything to do with their ability to pay prizes as it is shareholders who gain or lose but the share price at close on Friday was almost 20% higher than it was year ago.

The lady who won was speaking via the telephone on Lorraine this morning. She sounded quite normal and is going to spend some and invest some. Not splashing out and going crazy but normal stuff, you know!

Ann from Manchester won. She was on all the live daytime shows today, by phone to keep her anonymity. Makes sense. Not going to lie, totally jealous! LOL!
