A question on self employed income?

Hi
I'm self employed and carry out work for clients. I get paid a fee as well as a mileage claim. For example if my fee is say £80 and my mileage claim is £10 (they pay me for mileage claim over a certain number of miles) so my total invoice is £90.
My question is for mortgage purposes to show self employed income going to into my account, the mileage claim (for example £10) is paid two weeks after the £80. Will my income be counted as £80 and the £10 will be ignored as it was paid a few weeks later or can I show £90 as my total income for tax or mortgage income evidence purposes even though the £10 element of it was a mileage claim (my total invoice that I send my client will be £90)?
Thanks
