Aldi bargains

I got a lot of bargains in ALDI today. They were discounting food to make room for Christmas stock. It was around 75% discount on currants, luxury mixed fruit, pate, pasta, olives, garlic...loads of store cupboard ingredients!

my local ALDI does this a lot , its usually out back as well they cordon off a bit of the warehouse have picked up some great bargains this year and 9 times out of 10 the price on the label goes through the til at 1/2 again so happy days

I'm surprised that they were reducing the dried fruit.... That's a fairly common thing that people use at Christmas. I would have thought they'd reduce other less Christmassyish things first.

I'm going to have a look this week. Was everything still in their usual places? Or was there a special section made for them?
