Standby Rights

I have two jobs. My first I have standbys as part of my contract where I have to be on call till 10am if I get called in before that time I have to go in.
I don't get paid if I don't get called in but I have to often refuse work the days I am on standby at my second job as I don't know if I will be free to work for them or not.
I am therefore losing the chance of quite a few days where I could have worked at my second jobs because my first haven't called me in as standby.
Is this correct

Personally I cannot see any problem with it at all {apart from the fact you first/main job is not paying you the wage you want/need}. You choose to have two jobs not one and if your contract with you first job requires you to be on standby but not be paid if you are not needed and you have agreed to that there IMO is nothing you can do.0

What do you want to happen instead? Have you raised your concerns with either employer?0

Being on standby counts towards your working hours so you need to work out your contracted hours per week and then divide this number by your salary.
The amount you are paid per hour should not be less than the NMW.
