How many times do people enter multiple entry comps

I'm curious, How many times do you enter comps that allow multiple entries?
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

  • Sometimes only one sometimes lots.
Depends how much I want the prize.
I have entered and won a case of crisps this week on the Walkers bring it back comp. Made about a 100 entries for this one.

i sometimes wonder if it is worth entering multiple entries at all, cos there will always be people that enter hundreds/thousands of time or even have auto entries set up, where as i just dont have time/patience for any of that! lol

but i generally enter once just so i am in it to win it :) you never know, it could be destined that i win that prize

That's the way I look at it, if it's one entry per person or a multiple with a limit of say 5 or 6 entries then I have as much chance of winning as anyone else.
With unlimited entries I might put in one or two but there are people who will enter 100's/1,000's of times and for me that would either mean missing far too many other competitions or spending far too much time comping.

I won an ITV comp way back in 2008, in those days you could enter the ITV ones 30 times:eek: you had Deal or no Deal, Loose Women etc.:o... I used to feel obliged to enter 30 times, but it did pay off:D

When they say "you can enter as many times as you like" I either don't bother, or just do one entry and forget about it - as has been said above, there are bound to be people who take the words literally and enter 1000s of times. I don't think it's worth trying to compete with that, and I don't have the time to anyway, so I just stick to one entry and think that if I'm meant to win it, I will.
Where there are a set number of entries allowed (eg. 5 on the few ITV comps that still run online) I'll do the full number to the limit.
Stuff like dailies, that can be entered once per day, I enter as many days as I have time to, but that's rarely every day.
