Sorry if this is in the wrong area of the forum - couldnt find somewhere this fitted into...
To explain - my wife purchased trainers for my son through JD Sports online - paid with Paypal. They dont allow returns to the local store.
We wanted to return them as they were too big - so filled in the returns form and JD Sports have a "suggested" courier MYHermes as a link from their returns page. So we booked the courier £2.50 and the trainers were collected on 03.09.15 from a local parcel shop.
To date they still have not reached JD Sports returns in Rochdale - last info on tracking was they left the MyHermes "hub" no one has yet told me where this hub is - on 06.09.15.
Ive phoned JD Sports 4 times - emailed 4 times and also phoned MyHermes 4 times.
Each is blaming the other and saying I should do this and do that - but not taking any responsibility for the fact we havent been refunded yet for the returned trainers!!
MYHermes claim its up to JD Sports to phone them to put in a claim.
I was told today quite "clearly" to put it one way, by JDS customer services that WE chose to use MyHermes so basically tough luck - sort it with them. And also that "CS support" if he had it JDS wouldnt use MyHermes at all. Yet they have the link on their returns page with their logo and an option to input order number so this implies they have a contarct with MyHermes..right..?
We simply want refunded for the trainers - after 2 weeks of crap - we are still no further on...
So Im asking who is responsible for all this...?
JDS say its MYHermes as we have a contract with them and they should be responsible for finding the parcel and sorting it out.
MyHermes told me they cant contact the hub (last tracked info) as its over a week...
The customer service if you could call it that..!! is absolutely ridiculous and to be honest I'm loosing patience with it all...
So any advice greatly appreciated - surely you cant be left £48.99 out of pocket with no goods and have a proof of postage (MyHermes recipt) to prove they were indeed picked up...?
Thanks
James

Hermes' customer service is awful. Their live chat is based in India, and they have absolutely no power to do anything except apologise and offer you 20% off your next shipment, which is really not helpful.
You'll get a far better result if you post on the MyHermes' Facebook page. They're based in the UK and have a bit more bite than the live chat people. That's the only way I've found to get results from them.
Good luck - keep on at them via social media and you should get a result.© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
Why is this in food section?
Better off elsewhere . somewhere like shop but don't drop. I've seen a fair few complaints there.Lose 28lb 3/28lb
