Possible cheap Prime if bought on US

Not sure whether this will work or not (and hopefully someone will be able to answer).
Amazon Prime is currently $67 on the US store. It seemed quite happy to allow me to go through and purchase (although I didn't actually complete the transaction - it didn't moan at the confirm and pay screen when I signed in with my UK account).
I am not sure whether they would simply apply prime to your UK account or not? A google didn't seem to give the answer - might see if I can ask Amazon...

Dont think this would work as i have UK prime and when i have purchased from American amazon it does not show that i have prime so i think it s just for the country you live in.
