WASPI - Women Against State Pension Inequality

It should have been brought in more gradually, as was originally intended. To be told "sorry you were born in the wrong year so instead of your age being raised to 62/63 it is now going to be just short of 67" is just wrong.
I don't want or expect my pension to be backdated to when I was 60. I can fully accept 62 or 63. What I do not accept is the jump to almost 67 when if I had been born a year earlier I would be receiving it at 62/63
There is something wrong there, somewhere. To have a state pension age of nearly 67, you'd need to have been born in the early part of 1961.
As you are 61 I'd imagine you were born in 54/55 - so you'd get your SP probably shortly before your 66th birthday. Women of your age have suffered the steepest increase in state pension age under the 2011 act - but maybe it's a small consolation that your pension age isn't going to be quite as late as you were thinking.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Just saw this survey on state pension age increase if anyone is interested in completing it. Seems to be looking at some of the options mentioned in the debate.

Good survey. I hope we will get to see the results as the questions look complete and balanced, and the answers could reveal new information.0 -

Yes I thought that too. Gives both Waspi supporters and those that don't support ( or even do support but not the main "ask" ) a chance to air their views.0 -
Given the details I think that it may well be carried out by someone supporting WASPI.0

The mentions of WASPI in the introduction and question phrasing re having signed their petition or being a supporter.
It'd also be interesting to know where this survey is being promoted, since it may be intended to target a particular audience which is more or less likely to support a particular view. Where did you come across it?0 -
It is not WASPI-approved, as they have advised their supporters on Facebook not to do the survey as it "could be detrimental to the campaign". Make of that what you want - I find it staggering that they'd not want their supporters to say what they want.0

Unfortunately I don't find it surprising as they've been suppressing views for months. They have one aim in mind and that is the Waspi ask. Supporters that don't follow that are not wanted and often banned.0
