Hi
I need a computer to do my job (as do most people!). My personal computer is on the blink and I have requested that work provide me with a computer or buy me a new one. They are reluctant to do so, and I wondered what rights I have if I need a computer to carry out my duties?

    I guess if you have to work from home they would provide you, assuming its in your contract. Else the most your likely to get is one on your desk at work....if your lucky.

    I work from home occasionally but don't own a company laptop. A simple token sorts it via remote access.

    If you really need a computer for work, why they would be unwilling to provide one ? What is it you do?
